The Toyota driver, meanwhile, allegedly proceeded through the intersection on a green light, intending to go straight. The 22-year-old was taken to the hospital with head injuries following the collision. This incident is separate from a previous Wednesday accident involving a bicycle rider and a 76-year-old male driver. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
