Affordable AI-integrated Automobiles Launched by Xpeng

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng Motors unveiled the high-end MONA M03 Max variant on Monday, aiming to bring autonomous driving powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to a wider audience and competitively position itself in the market.

According to the China Daily portal, the vehicle will come standard with the Turing chip, developed by the manufacturer, and the AI Tianji System. These features, previously exclusive to models sold in China for over 200,000 yuan (approximately €24,456), will be available in the MONA M03 Max at a lower price point of less than 150,000 yuan (approximately €18,342) within the Chinese market. The international market price will be higher due to automotive market taxes.

By offering AI-powered driving technology at a more affordable price, Xpeng aims to accelerate the adoption of this technology across the entire industry and increase competition among its rivals. The model is equipped with Xpeng's full version of the Tianji cockpit system, an AI-powered interface designed to enhance the driving experience.
