Allianz Global Investors (AGI) has unveiled a new advisor portal, marking a significant step forward in its commitment to delivering superior investment services. This new platform, designed in-house by AGI, is an extension of the services provided by its long-standing partner, Fondsdepot Bank.
The new advisor portal offers enhanced access to clients and advisors, providing a comprehensive, user-friendly interface for managing portfolios. Fondsdepot Bank, which handles the custody of funds for AGI, has also developed a separate portal for its AGI customers, offering an account overview and online fund trading facilities.
The previous advisor portal has been discontinued, making way for the innovative new solution. The shift is driven by the growing trend in the financial sector towards adopting AI and machine learning tools to improve compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
At the heart of the new technical solution is an AI-driven risk management platform called "Risk Monitor". This advanced system uses machine learning algorithms to analyse market data in real-time, enhancing investment performance and risk identification. By leveraging AI technology, the new portal promises more efficient and effective portfolio and client management.
The "Risk Monitor" platform was chosen to replace the old system due to its ability to provide real-time risk assessment and automate regulatory compliance. Older systems, lacking AI capabilities, were likely unable to meet the evolving regulatory requirements or the need for real-time data analysis and automation, making them an inadequate choice for the modern financial landscape.
The new advisor portal is intended for use by AGI's in-house advisors only. Users are advised to check their spam folders if they have not received a confirmation email upon registration.
In a partnership spanning two decades, AGI and Fondsdepot Bank have collaborated to create a shared platform that promises to streamline advisory services and improve client experience.
