AIMA Marks Its Debut in Sri Lanka

AIMA Technology, a leading player in the green technology sector, officially expanded its operations into Sri Lanka with a grand launch event held on June 30, 2025. This significant milestone marks AIMA's entry into the region, aligning with the Belt and Road Initiative's plans for regional integration and growth.

The launch event, held in Sri Lanka, positioned the country as an important node along the Belt and Road Initiative. This strategic move indicates AIMA's commitment to contributing to the region's development and growth.

While specific sales figures for AIMA Technology’s performance in Sri Lanka post-launch are not publicly disclosed, the focus of the reports has been on the launch event and its strategic implications rather than detailed financial or sales performance metrics.

Despite the lack of explicit references, AIMA’s green technology focus aligns with sustainability and, by extension, supports broader sustainability goals. This alignment suggests a positive environmental impact through technology that promotes cleaner, greener infrastructure or services. The company's expansion in Sri Lanka could potentially contribute to the country's "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative, although direct links are not explicitly mentioned.

The unveiled models at the event include the AIMA Maverick (AIMA A7 PLUS) and the Engine MAX series. The AIMA Maverick, a two-wheeled luxury sports sedan, is equipped with the "Engine 8" electric drive system. This electric vehicle, combined with nitrogen acceleration and aerodynamic design, can reach a top speed of 65km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 meters in 9.8 seconds.

AIMA Technology's entry into Sri Lanka also marks a new strategic partnership with the innovative mobility brand Telesonic Mobility. As of 2025, AIMA Technology has 11 production bases, including overseas bases in Indonesia and Vietnam. The company's electric vehicles have been sold to over 60 countries worldwide and have achieved total sales of 90 million units as of March 2025.

The company's success in Sri Lanka is further evidenced by its certification as a "Global Leading Electric Two-Wheeler Brand" by Frost & Sullivan. The launch event in Sri Lanka marked another important milestone in AIMA Technology's global expansion journey, signifying the beginning of a new chapter in the company's growth story.

  1. AIMA Technology's new electric vehicle, the AIMA Maverick, with its "Engine 8" electric drive system, showcases the company's commitment to integrating technology, sustainability, and lifestyle in their offerings.
  2. With the introduction of high-end gadgets like the AIMA Maverick electric vehicle and partnerships with brands like Telesonic Mobility, AIMA Technology is not only expanding its operations but also elevating Sri Lanka's profile as a hub for cutting-edge technology and electric-vehicles.
