Artificial intelligence and data strategy innovation takes a leap with Koin's latest creation

In a strategic move to bolster its position in the iGaming industry, Koin, a leading cashless solutions provider, has appointed Hemash Bhatti as its new Head of AI and Data Strategy. Bhatti, a seasoned technology professional with over 15 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge from his work with Fortune 500 brands such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Kraft, and the NBA.

Bhatti's extensive background in data and analytics will be instrumental in driving innovation and strengthening Koin's product offerings. His role at Koin will involve harnessing advancements in AI and data to transform the company's cashless payment solutions.

Gary Larkin, Koin's President, praised Bhatti's ability to leverage data for transformation and client impact. Larkin emphasised the ethical application of AI as a key component of Koin's growth strategy, stating, "Hemash's expertise will be invaluable in supporting our data management and analytics capabilities for customers and partners."

Before joining Koin, Bhatti led data strategy and analytics at Apply Digital, where he managed teams of analytics and data engineers and spearheaded multi-disciplinary data initiatives across various sectors. Among his notable achievements at Apply Digital were launching the first digital personalization program for a global food and beverage company, which was scaled across five brands and significantly boosted engagement and first-party data collection. He also developed an advanced AI-powered customer segmentation tool that increased contextual customer trait collection by 140% with over 90% accuracy.

Craig Lisbon, Koin's Chief Strategy Officer, noted increased interest in cashless solutions from operators. Balancing a ubiquitous electronic funding solution with operator control over customer engagements is a key challenge for Koin, as Lisbon explained, "We are committed to providing operators with the tools they need to manage their customer relationships effectively while ensuring a seamless cashless experience."

With Bhatti's appointment, Koin is poised to scale its offerings and address the challenges of realizing the full potential of cashless technology. Bhatti's experience in data practices from large corporations, combined with Lisbon's acknowledgement of Koin's well-positioned status to manage these challenges, sets the stage for an exciting future for the company.
