Aston Martin Unveils Upgraded AMR-C01-R Racing Simulator
Aston Martin has unveiled an upgraded racing simulator, the AMR-C01-R, limited to just 50 examples. The simulator, inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie and designed by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, is now available to order from the Curvs website.
The AMR-C01-R boasts precision ergonomics and cutting-edge hardware. It features a revised seating position and ergonomics for enhanced comfort and accessibility, particularly for taller drivers. The simulator retains the Valkyrie-inspired all-carbon fibre monocoque and Aston Martin Racing grille.
Under the hood, the AMR-C01-R packs a full-blown gaming PC with an upgraded NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card and Intel 14th-generation processor. It also includes 32GB DDR5 memory and 2TB M.2 SSD storage, double the capacity of the original. The simulator comes with a 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C DQHD gaming monitor, offering a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.
Designed to fit into a residence as a sculptural work of art, the AMR-C01-R promises an even more immersive game experience. The base price starts at £58,750 or NZ$132,240, though there's no public information on the price for the special German version.
The AMR-C01-R is a testament to Aston Martin's commitment to pushing boundaries in both automotive and gaming experiences. With its limited production run, it's set to be a coveted addition for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike.
