Audi-FAW initiates early sales of Q6L e-tron lineage vehicles, incorporating Huawei's advanced driving assistance system.

The Audi Q6L e-tron and Sportback e-tron, two luxury electric SUVs, are now available for pre-sales in China. Developed based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, these vehicles offer a blend of performance, advanced technology, and spacious design.

Dimensions and Specifications

The Q6L e-tron measures approximately 4884 mm (192.3 in) in length, 1965 mm (77.4 in) in width, and 1694 mm (66.7 in) in height. Its wheelbase is around 2.9 m, and it boasts a trunk capacity of 526 liters (18.6 cu ft). The curb weight is approximately 2366 kg (5216 lbs).

Under the hood, the Q6L e-tron delivers up to 544 hp, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds. Its battery offers an electric range of approximately 720 km on a single charge, and fast charging can reach 80% battery in about 30 minutes.

Technology and Comfort

These vehicles come equipped with a range of comfort and technology features. Heated, ventilated, and massage seats, a heated steering wheel, and L2+ intelligent driving assistance are standard. Advanced driver-assistance systems include 360-degree cameras, adaptive cruise control, and an augmented reality head-up display.

The Q6L e-tron also features adaptive air suspension, dynamic driving modes, and regenerative braking with paddles on the steering wheel.

Variants

The Sportback version offers a sleeker, coupe-like roofline for a more dynamic aesthetic. Both variants share similar powertrains and tech features but may differ in exterior styling and interior finishes.

Pricing and Huawei Qiankun Smart Driving Technology

The Audi Q6L e-tron family is competitively priced but premium, reflecting their luxury and advanced EV status. Export-ready versions are marketed globally with competitive pricing, but specific MSRP figures depend on markets and configuration.

Higher-priced variants equipped with Huawei Qiankun smart driving technology enhance the vehicle’s autonomous and semi-autonomous driving capabilities. Benefits include enhanced intelligent driving assistance, more refined and responsive driver assistance features, and integration of Huawei’s smart cockpit and connectivity solutions.

Test Drives and Official Launch

Test drives for the Audi Q6L e-tron and Sportback e-tron models are now available at Audi dealerships. The official launch of these models is scheduled for August.
