Auto manufacturer Geely plans to introduce five new vehicle models during the second half of 2025.
Chinese automaker Geely Auto has announced plans to launch five new hybrid models in the second half of 2025. The lineup includes the Zeekr 9X SUV, Lynk & Co Lynk 10 EM-P sedan, Geely Galaxy A7 sedan, Geely Galaxy M9 SUV, and possibly the Zeekr 8X SUV.
The Zeekr 9X SUV, part of Geely’s premium Zeekr line, is expected to hit showrooms around September or October 2025. The Lynk & Co Lynk 10 EM-P is a plug-in hybrid variant of the Z10 sedan. The Galaxy M9 PHEV will begin accepting orders from August 23, 2025. The Galaxy A7 is a newly launched sedan under the Galaxy brand. The fifth model, while not explicitly confirmed, is likely the Zeekr 8X SUV.
This launch is part of Geely’s strategy to increase sales and expand its market share. The company aims to sell 3 million vehicles in 2025, with a target of selling 1,590,820 vehicles in the second half of the year, averaging 265,137 vehicles per month. In the first half of this year, Geely sold 1,409,180 vehicles, a 47% increase year-on-year.
Geely Auto’s CEO, Gan Jiayue, made this announcement at the 2025 mid-year business conference. The company sold 510,803 pure electric vehicles in the first half of the year, a 173% increase year-on-year. PHEV models accounted for 214,348 units, a 61% increase year-on-year. Lynk & Co sold 154,137 vehicles in the first half of the year, a 22% increase year-on-year, while the Geely brand sold 1,164,303 vehicles, a 30% increase year-on-year, including 548,408 vehicles sold by Geely Galaxy in the first half of the year.
In addition to these new models, Geely has unveiled the industry's first AI agent-powered car cockpit, marking a significant step forward in the integration of artificial intelligence in automotive technology. On July 1, Geely Auto raised its full-year sales target by about 11 percent from 2.71 million to 3 million vehicles.
