AVPro Edge Unveils 24-Port 10 Gigabit PoE++ Switch for High-Performance AV-over-IP

AVPro Edge has unveiled the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C, a 24-port 10 Gigabit PoE++ switch designed for reliable, high-performance AV-over-IP applications. This new switch, launched in 2023, is a testament to the company's commitment to innovative, high-performance solutions.

The AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C offers hybrid PoE++/PoE+ functionality, supporting a wide range of AV-over-IP applications such as AVPro Edge MXnet, AES67, Dante, and SDVoE. This versatile switch is a successor to AVPro Edge's first 12-port 10 Gigabit PoE++ switch, introduced in 2022.

To ensure optimal performance, the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C comes pre-configured with Quality of Service (QoS) settings. These settings are specifically optimized for AES67, Dante, and SDVoE multicasting. Notably, AVPro Edge is the first professional AV manufacturer to implement such dedicated QoS pre-configurations for Dante and SDVoE traffic.

The AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C, with its 24 ports and 10 Gigabit speed, is set to enhance AV-over-IP systems' performance and reliability. Its hybrid PoE++/PoE+ functionality and pre-configured QoS settings make it a standout choice for various professional AV applications.
