BCG Frankfurt: New Leaders Shake Up Central Europe
BCG deepens its alliances as New Year approaches
In the bustling world of management consulting, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is making waves with a fresh round of appointments to their Central Europe leadership team. Kicking off in the New Year, eleven new Managing Directors and Partners will take the reins, as confirmed by a corporate statement to the Financial Times.
According to Michael Brigl, Head of Central Europe, this expansion is a clear demonstration of BCG's unwavering commitment to invest in their team, even amid the tumultuous economic landscape we're sailing through.
One notable addition to the team is Biljana Bajic-Bizumic, a 38-year-old expert in banking technology and cybersecurity, based in Zurich. In Vienna, BCG is promoting Florian Brunnader, a 36-year-old specialist in the insurance industry.
Three new faces will join the Munich team at the end of the year. Kim Hartmann, 38, brings her marketing and sales expertise to the table, while Jakob Liss, 39, specializes in data-driven process optimization and machine learning. Thomas Bumberger, 32, offers advisory services for private equity and infrastructure investors.
In the summer, BCG boosted its leadership ranks by promoting several new partners in key areas. Catharina Martinez-Pardo, 38, joins the partner circle in Düsseldorf, specialized in consumer and luxury goods, sustainability. Jan Lindenberg, also 38, will contribute his transformation and restructuring expertise. Max Teichert, 37, and Philipp Weltzien, 35, will bring their banking and payments, as well as energy sector knowledge, respectively, to the table in Hamburg.
Jan Beier, 40, is now managing the Düsseldorf office with his focus on cost efficiency and supply chain optimization. In Stuttgart, Christoph Heuser, 39, will lend his expertise in the automotive sector to the leadership team.
Just earlier this year, BCG announced an unprecedented 19 Managing Director and Partner promotions in Central Europe, forging ahead with what it claims is its most comprehensive promotion round to date. With more than 200 partners strong, the German BCG team is no stranger to driving change in the consulting industry.
