Introducing the BenQ LK830ST and LH830ST Short-Throw Laser Projectors

BenQ, a leading manufacturer in the tech industry, is set to launch two new short-throw laser projectors - the LK830ST and LH830ST. These projectors are designed specifically for simulation environments such as golf simulators, interactive classrooms, and museums.

The LK830ST and LH830ST boast impressive specifications that make them ideal for their intended use. Here are some of their key features:

  • Resolution: Both projectors offer native 4K UHD resolution, with the LK830ST delivering 3840 x 2160 pixels and the LH830ST offering Full HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels.
  • Brightness: Both projectors offer 4,000 ANSI lumens, ensuring bright and clear images even in moderately lit environments.
  • Contrast Ratio: The LK830ST boasts an impressive contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1, providing deep blacks and vivid detail.
  • Color Coverage: Both projectors cover 93% of the Rec. 709 color space, ensuring accurate and vibrant color reproduction.
  • Refresh Rate: Both projectors support up to 120Hz, ideal for smooth motion in interactive and gaming applications.

The LK830ST and LH830ST are priced around €1,999 to €2,399 in Europe ahead of their official launch in September 2025.

Both projectors come with a built-in 15W speaker and Wi-Fi connectivity with over-the-air firmware update capability. They also have IP6X dust certification, providing complete protection against dust ingress. The LK830ST offers an 116% projection offset for house mapping applications.

In terms of connectivity, both projectors include HDMI ports, LAN connections, USB inputs, RS-232 interfaces, and Wi-Fi. Optional dust filter housings are available for particularly harsh environments.

The projectors can project images up to 300 inches wide using their 0.5:1 throw ratio. Each model measures 279 x 121 x 229mm and weighs 3.4kg.
