Burgess Yachts Sets Industry Records With DILBAR and AZZAM

Burgess, a renowned name in yachting, has left its mark on the industry with innovative designs and record-breaking builds. The company, with a legacy spanning five decades, has been responsible for some of the world's most iconic yachts, including the largest and fastest motor yachts by volume and length respectively.

DILBAR, the largest motor yacht by volume, boasts an impressive 15,917 gross tonnage. This colossal yacht features a 25m swimming pool, capable of holding a staggering 180 cubic metres of water. Another remarkable Burgess creation, AZZAM, holds the title of the world's longest yacht at 180m. Not only is it the longest, but it also sets speed records, reaching over 30 knots.

The yacht BRAVO EUGENIA, owned by Jerry Jones and built by Oceanco, is a testament to Burgess' innovative spirit. It incorporates a 201" Porsche-designed C'Seed TV screen that rotates, folds, and withdraws into the deck, and a double height IMAX cinema with Dolby Atmos sound, a first on any yacht. The build of DILBAR was technically complex, featuring independent engine and pod systems. AZZAM, on the other hand, showcases an unusually shallow draught of 4.3m, allowing it to cruise in various environments.

Burgess' influence on the yachting industry is undeniable. With a portfolio that includes the largest, longest, and fastest motor yachts, as well as innovative features like those seen on BRAVO EUGENIA, the company continues to set new benchmarks and shape the industry's future.
