Century Lithium Advances Angel Island Project with BLM Approval and $4.7M Funding
Century Lithium Corp. has made significant strides in its Angel Island lithium project in Nevada. The company has submitted comprehensive environmental studies to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and secured $4.7 million in funding for further development.
The Angel Island project has been recognized as a FAST-41 Transparency project, indicating federal support for advancing domestic lithium supply. Century Lithium has engaged with various federal, state, and local agencies to review the project before entering the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) evaluation phase.
The company has completed and submitted all required baseline environmental studies to the BLM for the NEPA permitting process. To support this process, Century Lithium has raised $4.7 million through a LIFE offering. This funding will be used to update the Feasibility Study and continue permitting efforts. The updated study will reflect the most current project data and support the Plan of Operations (PoO) leading into the NEPA process.
Century Lithium's Angel Island project is progressing steadily, with environmental studies submitted and funding secured. The project's designation as a FAST-41 Transparency project and engagement with multiple agencies demonstrate strong support for the development of this domestic lithium source.
