LimX Dynamics, a self-proclaimed general-purpose robotics company established in 2022, has recently unveiled its latest creation — the humanoid robot, LimX Oli. This robot is designed to advance manufacturing and warehouse operations automation, and is now available for AI researchers, robotics engineers, and integration specialists.

The modular arm system of LimX Oli offers versatile, multi-task handling by integrating full-body mobility with dexterous arm coordination. This system enables nuanced and context-aware manipulation across a wide range of tasks, from heavy-object loading to multitasking, and even dancing. The robot's adaptability is showcased in a demonstration video, where Oli is seen performing human-like actions such as lifting dumbbells, performing Chinese kung fu, and sorting items in a warehouse.

Oli's modular architecture allows it to handle a variety of activities in various locations. The robot stands at 1.65 meters and is equipped with 31 degrees of freedom, offering fine control and flexibility. It can switch arms with different attachments such as normal hands, precision grippers, and agile robotic hands, enhancing its versatility.

Toward the end of the work session, Oli is deliberately kicked from behind to test its balance. Impressively, the robot dynamically adjusts its posture and regains composure, emphasizing its full-body disturbance recovery capabilities.

The open SDK provided by LimX Dynamics offers full access to sensor data, joint control, and task scheduling. This allows developers to customize and optimize task execution, bridging the gap between minimalist robotic arms and wheeled automation.

As the day wraps up, Oli enters a leisure mode, grooving and dancing to music with impressive rhythm and movement. This positions Oli as a machine that is not only capable of complex tasks but also adaptable to both work and play.

LimX is offering a limited buy-one-get-one-free deal for the EDU model of the robot. The robot comes in three variants: Lite, EDU, and Super, with prices starting at RMB 158,000 (around $21,800). The robot was first showcased in May 2025, demonstrating its potential to advance manufacturing and warehouse operations automation.

The LimX Oli is a testament to LimX Dynamics' commitment to achieving general artificial intelligence (AGI) in various domains, including the home and business sectors. With its human-scale adaptability and coordination, Oli is set to revolutionize the field of logistics, manufacturing, education, and research, offering a promising future for automation.
