Key Collection Features
📝 Notes in Collections
Add semi-private or full-blown public notes linked to resources, allowing for seamless lesson planning and organization. Boast your notes' basic formatting options, including adding embeddable external links!
Create standalone, separate notes alongside resources to jot down brilliant ideas. Simply hover your cursor over the relevant resource image and click the appropriate icon!
🔒 Public Notes
Public notes that you attach to resources will appear in a vibrant yellow panel on the resource page. These bad boys are fantastic teaching tools!
🔒 Private Notes
Create a secret storm of private notes to conceal extension ideas, answers to questions, or other teacher-only information. To ensure privacy, switch on the lock icon, turning your note to a pale orange hue.
Now the interesting part - when you set a note to private, only the title of collection(s) that your private note belongs to will display on the resource page. Clicking the lock icon can effortlessly toggle your note back to public visibility.
Don't Forget to Save!
Before you take on the world of education with your magnificent collections, remember to save your notes and rearrange your resources in whichever order suits your style best. In the event that you've dropped multiple notes for the same resource item in a collection, only the first note from your collection will show up on that resource page.
Sharing Public Collections
Build collaborative environments by sharing your hard-worked collections with friends, colleagues, or the entire world! Locking a collection (using the padlock icon on the collection title) generates a shareable link, making it easy-peasy to invade other people's collection reminiscent of cover a car in stickers. Just grab the link, copy, and paste – ta-da! Sharing is caring!
Got a shareable collection link? Giddy up and add it to your collection – simply click the copy icon! This delightful collection will then become one of your own!
Collaboration
Partner up with fellow educators and work together in real-time on a collection by clicking the friendly people icon. Enter an email address and hit 'Invite'. The lucky recipient will receive an email from enquiries@our website with an access link to jump on board the new collection!
HELPFUL TIP: If the invitee isn't seeing the email, double-check the email address and scan those spam/junk folders.
Once they've joined your harmony, a charming icon representing them will appear in your collection. Unleash the power of teamwork and create intellectual masterpieces together! Just be mindful – if you see their icon near a note, that means they're currently doing their thing. Show some patience until they're done and their icon disappears.
