Dacia Unveils Affordable Electric Hipster Concept

Dacia has unveiled the Hipster, an innovative electric vehicle concept inspired by the Suzuki Jimny and Land Rover Defender. This futuristic L7 vehicle aims to provide affordable individual mobility in urban areas.

The Hipster, designed as an L7 vehicle, is exempt from certain crash and equipment requirements, allowing for a top speed of 90 km/h. Despite its performance, it maintains a maximum unladen weight of 450 kg without the battery. Dacia, the manufacturer, has designed the Hipster with a station wagon style and a cost-reduction model specifically for urban areas.

Powered by electricity, the Hipster boasts a power output of up to 15 kW/20 PS. This makes it significantly cheaper than the successor of the current Dacia Spring, with prices starting at just €16,900.

The Dacia Hipster is set to revolutionize urban electric mobility with its affordable price point and practical design. Its performance and weight limits make it an attractive option for city dwellers seeking an eco-friendly, budget-friendly vehicle.
