In an exciting development in the world of media and entertainment, ThinkAnalytics, a leading provider of personalized recommendation, search, and discovery services, has unveiled a new solution at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC2023).

The new offering, which includes voice, chatbot, and generative AI for personalized recommendations, content metadata, and natural language interaction, is set to revolutionize the streaming experience. Visitors can find the demonstration at Hall 5, stand B82.

One of the key highlights of the new solution is its ability to support cross-channel marketing campaigns and personalized Fast-forward (FAST) channels. This innovation is expected to enhance the user experience and engage audiences more effectively.

In a related development, ThinkAnalytics has been selected by Dish TV India to provide personalized recommendations for their Watcho OTT platform using the ThinkMediaAI product suite. Dish TV plans to leverage ThinkMediaAI's scalability to accommodate millions of subscribers and support 12 languages.

As Watcho expands its library with more international and regional titles, ThinkMediaAI's metadata enrichment aims to offer relevant recommendations, including for niche local language content. This collaboration is expected to support Watcho's development from a content aggregator into an entertainment platform offering curated experiences.

Editorial and curation teams will gain access to insights on viewing trends and content performance, enhanced by A/B testing and automation tools designed to optimize workflows and reduce reliance on engineering resources.

ThinkMediaAI's real-time profiling and dynamic user interface features rail positioning and trending content personalized for each user. These features are designed to improve user engagement and retention.

However, it's important to note that ThinkAnalytics' new solution at IBC2023 does not appear to support live TV or over 24 OTT apps on Watcho's aggregation platform, as previously stated. Similarly, the solution does not seem to provide real-time profiling and dynamic user interface features or editorial and curation team insights, as suggested in the initial announcement.

Meanwhile, Veritone, another company in the industry, is set to present Agentic AI Metadata as a novelty in its suite of recommendation, search, and discovery services at IBC 2025. This offering promises to fully automate the enrichment of metadata for entire content catalogues, maintaining high quality throughout.

In a separate statement, Mr VK Gupta, CTO at Dish TV India, stated that ThinkMediaAI's AI-powered capabilities will help provide content that resonates with subscribers' preferences. Peter Docherty, ThinkAnalytics CTO and co-founder, mentioned that Watcho's OTT aggregation platform is pioneering the super-aggregation of streaming services.

In conclusion, ThinkAnalytics' new solution at IBC2023 marks a significant step forward in the realm of personalized streaming experiences. While it may not support all the features initially announced, the potential for improved user engagement and the integration with Watcho's OTT platform are promising developments in the industry.
