Emirates SkyCargo Boosts Fleet With 5 More Boeing 777F Freighters

Emirates SkyCargo is strengthening its fleet with five more Boeing 777F aircraft, responding to surging demand for air cargo services. The Dubai-based carrier has finalized the deal in September, adding to its existing order of 14 freighters.

The Boeing 777F is a popular choice, with 275 already delivered. It can carry up to 102 tons of cargo and cover distances up to 9,200 kilometers. The expansion aligns with Dubai's growing status as a global logistics hub.

Emirates SkyCargo plans to operate a total of 21 Boeing 777 freighters in the coming years. This move is part of a global trend, with around 2,845 more freighter aircraft needed worldwide in the next 20 years to meet increasing demand in global trade and e-commerce.

With the addition of five more Boeing 777F aircraft, Emirates SkyCargo's fleet will grow to 19 freighters. This expansion underscores the company's commitment to meeting the rising demand for air cargo solutions.
