Expansion of Logidoo's Casablanca-Dakar Route Extends to Belgium, Connecting Europe and West Africa

The latest development in Logidoo's expansion strategy is the extension of its Casablanca-Dakar logistics corridor to Belgium, marking a significant milestone in connecting Europe and West Africa. This strategic move creates a new route linking Belgium, Morocco, and several West African countries, particularly catering to European manufacturers and e-commerce businesses seeking access to African markets.

Key aspects of this expansion include a strategic partnership with a leading Belgian logistics operator, which offers regular consolidation services between the three regions. This partnership positions Morocco as a regional logistics hub, facilitating the channeling and redistribution of goods from Europe to West Africa.

The corridor boasts a wide domestic network in Belgium for parcel drop-off and collection, scheduled groupage shipments at competitive rates, and a fully integrated logistics solution incorporating storage, customs clearance, last-mile delivery, cash-on-delivery, and secure remittance services.

This expansion aims to enhance trade efficiency by integrating customs, financing, and delivery processes along the route, thereby reducing friction and costs across the supply chain between Europe and West Africa.

Logidoo's network currently operates in multiple African countries, including Senegal, Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia, having onboarded over 3,000 logistics providers and completed more than 100,000 operations to serve over 400 clients. The company's operations extend to eight countries and are continuing to grow.

This extension builds on Logidoo's recent achievements, including a US$1.5 million funding round and the launch of Afridoo, a platform to boost African merchants' online sales. Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, CEO of Logidoo, continues to lead the company in its mission to establish Morocco as a regional logistics hub and bridge economic regions with professional and integrated logistics infrastructure.

In summary, Logidoo's extension of the Casablanca-Dakar corridor to Belgium represents a major step in connecting Europe and West Africa through Morocco, offering comprehensive logistics services that facilitate smoother, cost-effective trade across these regions. This expansion opens a convenient and reliable channel for European SMEs and brands to enter African markets with an end-to-end logistics solution centered around Morocco as a logistics pivot.

The strategic partnership with a Belgian logistics operator in the expansion will offer consolidation services, positioning Morocco as a regional hub for channeling and redistributing goods from Europe to West Africa, particularly beneficial for European manufacturers and e-commerce businesses. This expansion aims to boost trade efficiency by integrating customs, financing, and delivery processes, leveraging technology for a seamless logistics solution.
