Extraterrestrial Reveal: The Initial Trailer Unveils an Alien and Our Planet

Title: Get ready for the terrifyingly exciting alien invasion in Alien: Earth!

Making our screens screaming-worthy again, FX and Hulu are cooking up an exhilarating new series! Now known as Alien: Earth, the dark sci-fi show, scheduled to premiere in 2025, will send shivers down your spine with its chilling teaser trailer. With a mere fifteen seconds, this teaser promises a nail-biting encounter with an alien species that's bound to leave you glued to your screens!

While the teaser enticed us with a tantalizing glimpse, we have more juicy tidbits about the upcoming series. For instance, the team behind the production, the star-studded cast, and the series' place in the Alien franchise's continuity.

Watch out for this ambitious project, convinced by its captivating logline: "When a mysterious spacecraft crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a diverse group of soldiers stumble upon a formidable threat that puts them in the crosshairs of the planet's deadliest invader."

Joining Chandler, known for her role in Don't Worry Darling, are other talented stars like Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El. Their diverse backgrounds and abilities may or may not secure their survival against the alien predator.

In the past, aliens have visited our world multiple times in the Alien universe. Unfortunately, those encounters are entangled with the Predator franchise, giving us the chaotic crossover films.

Since Alien takes place in the year 2122, and the intergalactic battle in Alien vs. Predator occurred in 2004, it's reasonable to assume that Alien: Earth will take place between those events – primarily between Prometheus, another prequel to Ridley Scott's original Alien film.

Despite the mixed fan reception towards the Alien vs. Predator franchise, it merits mentioning that Scott and his team may decide to skirt around these films when developing the continuity for Alien: Earth.

As we eagerly await the release of the series, keep up with the latest updates on Doctor Who, Marvel, Star Wars, and the DC Universe on film and television.
