Finch West LRT Starts Revenue Service, Eglinton Crosstown LRT Targets October Opening
The Finch West LRT has started its revenue service demonstration, potentially opening earlier than the long-awaited Eglinton Crosstown LRT. Metrolinx is now aiming to announce the opening date of the Eglinton line one month ahead of time, targeting October.
The Eglinton Crosstown LRT, under construction for seven years and plagued by delays, is set to enter its final testing phase this week.
