Ford introduces the latest iteration of the Ranger Super Duty, its most robust work vehicle to date.
The automotive world has been abuzz with the unveiling of the 2026 Ford Ranger Super Bowl, a formidable addition to Ford's midsize pickup lineup in Australia. Positioned as the toughest tool, this new model offers a range of optional packs designed for various jobsites and off-road adventures.
Priced as the priciest version of Ford's midsize pickup lineup, the Ranger Super Bowl starts at AU$82,990 for the Single Cab and AU$89,990 for the Double Cab, before on-road costs. With optional accessory bundles, a Super Bowl with added features can cost up to AU$97,680, surpassing even the Ranger Raptor.
The Work Pack, Farm Pack, and Adventure Pack are these optional bundles, each offering unique upgrades. The Work Pack, priced at AU$10,479, includes an integrated device mounting system, an instrument panel top console mount, and yellow wheel nut indicators. The Farm Pack, costing AU$14,629, features the ARB Summit Bull Bar, while the Adventure Pack, at AU$20,161, boasts a high-capacity Warn winch and ARB Rock Sliders.
The Ranger Super Bowl is equipped with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a full-time 4WD system with standard front and rear differential locks. Under the hood, a reworked 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine powers the vehicle, producing 207 hp (154 kW / 209 PS) and 443 lb-ft of torque. This robust engine enables the Super Bowl to tow up to 4,500 kg (9,921 pounds) and carry a payload of up to 1,982 kg (4,370 pounds).
The new version of the Ranger Super Bowl boasts a unique grille and hood design, off-road bumpers, a snorkel, and 33-inch all-terrain tires, all contributing to its rugged appearance. The vehicle is available in Single Cab, Super Cab, and Double Cab configurations with different tray sizes and a common length of 5,470 mm (215.4 inches).
Regrettably, Ford has no current plans to ship the Super Bowl to North America or Europe. As for the German market, specific price lists for the 2026 version of the Ford Ranger Super Bowl have yet to be disclosed.
The first examples of the Ranger Super Bowl are expected to reach Australian dealers in late 2026. With its impressive specifications and optional packs, this new model is set to redefine the midsize pickup segment in Australia.
