Fuchs CEO Stefan Fuchs to Lead Until 2029; Succession Unclear
Lubricant manufacturer Fuchs has secured the services of its CEO Stefan Fuchs until 2029. The grandson of the company's founder has been at the helm for nearly three decades and has led the board since 2004.
Stefan Fuchs' contract extension comes as the company looks to the future. His two daughters, graduates in business administration, could potentially continue the family's leadership at Fuchs. Currently, the contracts of finance chief Esma Saglik and technology chief Mathieu Boulandet run until 2028. Deputy CEO Timo Reister and board member Ralph Rheinboldt's contracts also end in 2028. Notably, the name of Fuchs' successor starting in 2029 has not been disclosed.
The automotive and commercial vehicle industry contributes significantly to Fuchs' sales, accounting for 30%.
