G-Shock Marks Evangelion's 30th Anniversary With Special Watch by Ikuto Yamashita
G-Shock is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion with a special watch designed by Ikuto Yamashita, the legendary mechanical designer behind the iconic series. The timepiece, set to release on October 20, 2025, is priced at €279 in Germany.
The G-Shock GA-110EVA30-7AER pays homage to Evangelion with detailed original graphics. Fans can expect to see EVA Unit-01, references to angels, and series logos on the watch face and band. This is not the first Evangelion-themed G-Shock, but it is the first based on the shock-resistant, water-resistant, and magnetic-resistant GA-110 platform. Previous models, such as the DW-5600 and DW-6900, sold out swiftly due to high demand.
The watch will be available for purchase on casio.com and in selected specialty stores. Japanese fans can get their hands on it from October 17, with the global release following on October 20.
