GDIT Wins $1.25B EMITS 2 Task Order for U.S. Army's Europe and Africa IT Support

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has been awarded a significant task order under the Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services 2 (EMITS 2) contract. This five-month base period, followed by seven option years, will see GDIT deliver crucial enterprise IT, communications, and mission command support services to the U.S. Army's Europe and Africa headquarters, its subordinate organizations, NATO, and other partners.

GDIT's information and technology unit secured this $1.25 billion task order, which was issued by the U.S. Army's headquarters for US Army Europe and Africa in September 2021. The contract, known as EMITS 2, aims to enhance the Army's IT capabilities and communications across its European and African operations, as well as support NATO and other strategic partnerships. GDIT will provide a wide range of services, including enterprise IT support, communications infrastructure management, and mission command systems maintenance and enhancement.

With this task order, GDIT continues its long-standing support for the U.S. Army's mission-critical operations in Europe and Africa. The company's expertise in enterprise IT services will help ensure the Army's technological readiness and interoperability with its allies and partners.
