Golden Dragon Unveils GC-15, Its First Digital Pure Electric Bus
Golden Dragon has revealed its initial digital pure electric bus, the GC-15 Coach, at Busworld Europe. The new coach provides a roomy interior and advanced features, setting a new standard for electric buses.
The GC-15 Coach showcases a generous luggage space of 10m³, equivalent to accommodating 63 20-inch suitcases. It measures 15 metres in length, 2.5 metres in width, and 3.8 metres in height. Powering this beast is a permanent magnet synchronous water-cooled motor, delivering a peak power of 500 kW and peak torque of 4800 N.m. The bus offers a rated passenger capacity of 62.
The GC-15 Coach is equipped with Golden Dragon's ORO AI voice engine, ensuring a smart and interactive passenger experience. It also features an all-round smart temperature control system and an 'intelligent armrest' with integrated controls. The vehicle's range stands at an impressive 600km, thanks to Golden Dragon's full electric drive system. Safety is enhanced with Matrix LED daytime running lights, flowing turn signals, and a full-width tail light.
Upon full release, the GC-15 Coach will offer size options ranging from 8 metres to 12 metres in length and alternative powertrain options. This flexibility caters to various transportation needs.
