GolfKicks Transforms Shoes into Golf Shoes, Rakes in Millions After Shark Tank Deal

GolfKicks, a revolutionary product that transforms regular shoes into golf shoes, was invented by John Krosky and Tyler Stewart. The company, which started through a Kickstarter campaign, gained significant traction after appearing on Shark Tank, raising substantial funds and achieving impressive annual profits.

Initially, GolfKicks sold each kit for $29, generating $120,000 in sales over three months. The product's unique selling proposition lies in its patented technique, which involves attaching spikes made from a combination of rubber and a metal core to the bottom of any shoe. These spikes, covered with a rubber over mold, are not felt by the wearer, providing comfort and stability on the golf course.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $15,147, GolfKicks further expanded its reach through an IndieGoGo campaign. However, it was their appearance on Shark Tank that catapulted the company to new heights. Mark Cuban invested $300,000 for a 13% stake in the company, valuing it at $2.3 million. Following this deal, GolfKicks raised an additional $131,363 through crowdfunding and now generates $4 million in profit annually.

GolfKicks, which started as a Kickstarter campaign, grew into a successful business, raising significant funds and achieving substantial profits. However, it is important to note that the company is no longer active today.
