National Information Technologies JSC (NIT JSC) has announced planned technical works scheduled for July 19, 2025, affecting several digital services in Kazakhstan. The technical works are aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted operation of NIT JSC projects and supporting their projects.

During the maintenance period, temporary access restrictions will be imposed on services such as eGov.kz, e-Otinish, E-license portals, Open Government systems, the National Certification Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NCC RK), and other NIT JSC-supported services. This maintenance will also affect services of state services in mobile applications of second-level banks and other systems integrated through the electronic government gateway.

To minimise potential inconvenience, the interval for the technical works has been chosen considering the minimum user activity. The works are scheduled to take place from 02:00 to 08:00.

NIT JSC recommends preparing original documents if their presentation is required during the technical works period. Users are also advised to complete all necessary operations in advance.

Although the eGov.kz portal and eGov mobile application will be affected, users can still explore alternative digital services. For government and public services, users can visit other government websites or portals that are not affected by the maintenance for general information and services.

The eGov mobile app might still be accessible for some services during the maintenance period. Additionally, many telecom operators offer mobile apps for various services, including payment and information services.

For financial transactions, banks in Kazakhstan offer robust online banking platforms that can be used for bill payments and other financial services.

In terms of alternative information sources, users can stay informed about public announcements and updates through news websites. Official government and public service accounts on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok might provide updates or temporary solutions during the maintenance period.

Government and public service contact centres can provide assistance and information over the phone during maintenance periods.

The technical works will affect the accessibility of the entire digital ecosystem of NIT JSC projects. The works will be performed by National Information Technologies JSC. However, no new facts were provided about the purpose of the technical works.

Users are advised to check official announcements or alternative platforms provided by the government or related service providers for specific alternative services during the maintenance period. The technical works were reported by Liter.kz.

Technology will be utilized during the maintenance period to temporarily restrict access on several digital services, including eGov.kz, e-Otinish, and E-license portals. Despite the eGov.kz portal and eGov mobile application being affected, users can still access alternative digital services or government websites for general information and services.
