HYVIA Launches Renault Master Van H2-TECH for Spanish Market
In a significant move towards sustainable mobility, HYVIA, a joint venture between Renault Group and Plug Power Inc., has commenced the open reservation for the Renault Master Van H2-TECH on their website, as of September 2023.
HYVIA is currently showcasing the Renault Master Van H2-TECH in various cities across Spain, including Barcelona, Madrid, and Zaragoza. This green hydrogen van is designed to accelerate the decarbonization of mobility on the roads, marking a crucial step in the joint venture's mission to become the leader in light commercial vehicles with fuel cell technology in Europe.
The partnership between Renault Group and Plug, two industry titans, was forged less than two years ago. Renault Group, renowned for its automotive expertise, and Plug Power Inc., a major provider of turnkey hydrogen solutions for the global green hydrogen economy, have combined their resources to create the Renault Master Van H2-TECH.
José Luis Crespo, the General Director of Applications and International Key Accounts at Plug, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that Spain is a strategic country for Plug with great potential for hydrogen. This sentiment is shared by HYVIA, as they are committed to deploying hydrogen mobility on the roads in Spain.
