Make Your Character AI

If you already have a 3D model of your character, feel free to send it to us at [email protected]. But, if you only have an image, follow our guidelines below to submit your character image and finalize its design with our tool.

First, find a picture of the character you want to animate. Remember to follow our guidelines for an easier submission:

  • File: Use JPEG or PNG file types only.
  • Resolution: Choose one of the following resolutions: 1024 x 1024, 2048 x 2048, or 512 x 512 pixels.
  • Character: Ensure the entire character, including eyes, feet, fingers, is visible in the picture.
  • Google Drive Folder: Share the Google Drive folder or image file with our [email protected] email (can't open the file? We can't see your character!).
  • T-Pose: Submit your characters in the T-Pose. Here's what that looks like:
  • Arms: Straight out, forming a "T" shape.
  • Legs: Straight down, toes pointing forward.
  • Fingers: Straight, maintaining symmetry.
  • Front Facing: Keep the character facing forward.
  • Symmetry: Ensure both sides of the character's body are mirror images of each other.
  • Background: Use a transparent or solid color background to help the AI distinguish the character from the environment.

Here's a general guide for using AI animation tools to create your unique, captivating animated character!

  1. Choose an AI Animation Platform: Select an online platform offering AI animation tools, such as Renderforest or others mentioned in YouTube tutorials. Each platform offers unique features, so choose the one that best suits your needs.
  2. Prepare Your Character Image: Ensure your character is posed in a T-Pose, with arms and legs straight out and symmetrical body parts. Use a high-quality image to help achieve the best results.
  3. Upload Your Image: On the platform, look for the "Upload" or "Import" option to add your character image. Some platforms might need you to adjust or crop the image.
  4. Customize Your Character (Optional): If possible, use the platform's tools to modify colors, textures, or other attributes to improve your character's appearance.
  5. Set Up Animation: Input your script or idea into the platform's animation generator. Choose the desired animation style, if available.
  6. Generate Animation: Click on the "Generate" or "Create" button to let the AI produce the animation based on your input.
  7. Review and Edit: Preview the generated animation to ensure your character moves as intended. Adjustments can be made as needed, such as adding voiceovers or syncing dialogue.
  8. Export Your Animation: Once satisfied, export the animation in the desired format for use on platforms like YouTube or social media.
