IABM announces the fresh board of members to be in place for the year 2025

The International Trade Association for Broadcast and Media Technology (IABM) has unveiled its Members' Board for 2025, following an election that saw a diverse group of industry leaders take on new roles. This announcement marks a pivotal moment for the industry and for IABM, as the association embarks on a two-year transformation program.

Josh Arensberg, Chair of the IABM Board, was re-elected as Chair and expressed gratitude to the IABM Members' Board and members for the re-election. He welcomed the new Board members and looked forward to supporting Saleha Williams, CEO of IABM, and her team to drive IABM forward.

The new and continuing members of the IABM Members' Board for 2025, along with their roles, are:

In addition, Paul Stechley from Applied Electronics, Thomas Gunkel from Skyline Communications, and Sumit Suri from U-TO have been appointed as Chairs of IABM Member Councils.

IABM's transformation program, focusing on strengthening global engagement, enhancing member services, and reinforcing IABM's position as the independent voice of the industry, is six months into a two-year strategy. The IABM Members' Board will support the association's work over the next two years as it advances this program.

The IABM Members' Board will champion innovation and represent the diverse voices within its global membership. Saleha Williams, CEO of IABM, stated that IABM is well-positioned to continue building a globally connected, forward-looking association.

The IABM Members' Board will input to the association's long-term strategy. The announcement was made during IABM's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 21, 2025, which had the highest number of attendees in recent years. IABM will be active at IBC2025, with the IABM Hub located in the RAI Diamond Lounge, featuring the IABM Member Lounge, IABM Impact Stage, and IABM TV. The association is set to continue its role as a key player in the broadcast and media technology industry, driving innovation and representing the interests of its global membership.
