Stuck Without Mobile Internet? Folks in Kurgan Aren't Alone!

Hey there, buddy! While some folks in Kurgan are enjoying smooth mobile internet connections whizzing past them on Tynina Street, others are left in the dusty digital wasteland of disconnection.

"Voilà, internet in just a jiffy as I traverse Tynina Street! It's pure gold in the western part, no drops at all these days. But hey, it's a no-go zone in Energetiki, yet it dances in Zaozernoe. Connection's peaks at KGSKHA, beyond the city limits and in the boonies, it's all good," says one resident, chatting it up in the Telegram channel "Kurgastan". Some are left to switch operators to keep the connection alive.

Internet woes have been dogging folks since the school holidays started. Many still can't seem to tap into mobile internet's magic. Hiccups in hailing cabs and ordering grub are a real pain for some. It's not just Kurgan residents who are twiddling their thumbs—neighbors in Tyumen and Yekaterinburg are going through the same digital struggles.

Telecom troubles first popped up a few days back, affecting the big guns like MTS, YOTA, t2, Beeline, and Megafon. You see, these operators command the space in Kurgan, blessing the region with 4G/LTE and possibly 5G, depending on network reach.

But folks aren't exactly jumping for joy! Complaints are streaming in—not just from Kurgan, but also from Tyumen, Sverdlovsk, Khanty-Mansi, Khakassia, and Krasnodar Krai. And guess who's listening? Ekaterina Mizulina, director of the Safe Internet League, has been briefed about the situation.
