Investment of €43 Million by Founders Fund for mass production of Gen3 satellites by EnduroSat, a new, bigger satellite class.

EnduroSat, a leading space technology company, is making strides in its mission to make space universally accessible with the announcement of a significant expansion of its U.S. operations. The company will be constructing a dedicated, U.S.-based cleanroom facility that will house satellite avionics labs, two assembly lines, expanded clean rooms, and a suite of space qualification equipment.

The expansion is driven by the launch of EnduroSat's new Gen3 satellite class, a 200-500kg software-defined satellite with advanced avionics and a fully modular design. The Gen3 satellites offer up to 3.5kW of peak power and 2GBPS datarate, making them highly configurable for a variety of advanced applications such as Earth observation, communications, and defense.

EnduroSat's new facility in the United States is based on a decade of in-orbit experience and customer feedback. The company aims to produce up to 60 satellites per month by the end of 2025 at the new facility, a significant increase from its current capacity.

The new facility will be one of the largest space R&D centers in Europe, mirroring EnduroSat's existing facility in Sofia, Bulgaria, which employs more than 230 space professionals across 6 locations worldwide. EnduroSat serves over 360 customers globally, including clients from the commercial and defense industries.

The expansion was made possible by a €43 million investment led by Founders Fund, with participation from CEECAT Capital, Morphosis Capital, and other returning investors. The funding will be used to scale production of EnduroSat's new Gen3 ESPA-class satellites.

EnduroSat's constellation-as-a-service model allows operators to focus on their core, value-generating business, streamlining access to space for commercial and government clients. The company supports customers end-to-end, from mission design, satellite assembly, integration, and testing, to mission operations.
