ITW GSE Lands €40M, 25-Year Deal with Royal Schiphol Group for Sustainable Airport Tech

ITW GSE has inked a significant deal with Royal Schiphol Group, valued up to €40 million, set to span up to 25 years. The agreement focuses on sustainability and future-proofing airport operations, aligning with Schiphol's green commitments.

ITW GSE will serve as the General Contractor, supplying its ITW GSE 3500 PCA and 3500 Air Coil units, along with an automatic hose management system. The 3500 PCA comes with Automated Aircraft Type Detection and EcoGate integration, while the 3500 Air Coil features AirTight and KinkFree SuperHoses. The modular technology ensures optimal heating and cooling of aircraft cabins and offers flexible installation options.

The agreement was signed by board members and representatives from both parties at Schiphol Group's main offices. ITW GSE will handle supply, with local support from Aviation GSE for installation and commissioning.

The long-term framework agreement between ITW GSE and Royal Schiphol Group is set to enhance sustainability and efficiency in airport operations. The supplied PCA units and automatic hose management system are expected to reduce environmental impact while future-proofing Schiphol's infrastructure.
