Kia Unveils Updated Sportage SUV With New Tech and Powertrains

Kia has updated its popular Sportage SUV, introducing revised styling and tech features. The new model, currently available in Europe, offers petrol and hybrid powertrains, with plug-in hybrid options coming soon. Prices start from £30,885 for petrol models and £34,425 for hybrid models.

The new Sportage comes with three trim levels: Pure, GT-Line, and GT-Line S. All include rain-sensing wipers, climate control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and Trailer Stability Assist. Petrol models, starting at £30,885, feature a 147bhp 1.6-litre turbo engine, with a kerbweight of 1552kg and a towing capacity of up to 1650kg. Hybrid models, priced from £34,425, offer 235bhp and a lower towing capacity of 1510kg.

The facelifted Sportage, developed by Kia, was officially launched in September 2025. It features updated styling and advanced technology, with improved hybrid powertrains. Petrol and hybrid models are currently available, with plug-in hybrid models due later this year.
