Kifaru, renowned for robust hiking backpacks, has ventured into the EDC (Every Day Carry) market with two new bags: the Echo and the Checkpoint. Both are available now via Kifaru's website, offering a blend of durability, comfort, and functionality.
The Echo bag, priced at $269, offers versatility with its unstructured design or optional frame sheet for $289. It boasts a capacity of 21.79L, expandable to 29.98L, and features a luggage pass-through and reinforced side pockets for water bottles. The Checkpoint bag, at $349, provides 27.8L of space, an internal frame sheet, and a floating laptop sleeve for 15-inch devices.
Both bags share ergonomic shoulder straps with foam padding for extended comfort. They maintain Kifaru's reputation for durability and weather resistance, constructed from 500D Cordura nylon. The Echo bag weighs 1 lb 15 oz (unstructured) or 2 lbs 3 oz (with frame sheet), while the Checkpoint bag weighs 3 lbs.
