Land Rover Unveils New Discovery SUV in Paris
Land Rover is set to unveil the new Discovery at the Paris Motor Show later this month. The latest iteration of the popular SUV will offer seven seats and aims to rival the Volvo XC90. A plug-in hybrid version is also in the works.
The new Discovery, also known as the Discovery 5, will make its debut on September 28. Land Rover has already released official photographs, showing a head-on view that bears a striking resemblance to the Discovery Vision Concept. Under the bonnet, entry-level models will feature a 2.0-litre Ingenium engine, with a 3.0-litre diesel also available.
The interior promises to be of a higher quality than the current Discovery, packed with more technology. The seven proper seats are designed to challenge the appeal of the Volvo XC90, a key competitor in the luxury SUV segment. More details about the new Discovery will be revealed before its official Paris Motor Show debut.
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery, or Discovery 5, is poised to make a significant impact in the luxury SUV market. With its sleek design, high-quality interior, and advanced technology, it aims to compete with the likes of the Volvo XC90. The addition of a plug-in hybrid version further enhances its appeal. Stay tuned for more details as we approach the Paris Motor Show.
