Largest solar module established globally by Goldi Solar in recognition of Prime Minister Modi's 75th birthday celebration
In a grand gesture marking the 75th birthday of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Goldi Solar, a renowned name in the solar industry, has unveiled the world's largest solar PV module – the NaMo Saur Samrat.
The NaMo Saur Samrat, with a capacity of 1750 Wp, is a shining example of manufacturing excellence on a global stage. It sets a new benchmark for size, efficiency, and ambition in the global solar industry.
Produced at Goldi Solar's manufacturing unit in Kosamba, Gujarat, the NaMo Saur Samrat is a testament to the company's reputation for precision-driven, future-ready manufacturing.
Capt. Ishver Dholakia, Founder & Managing Director of Goldi Solar, spoke on the occasion. His statement was the greatest tribute to Prime Minister Modi from Goldi Solar, as the NaMo Saur Samrat was created as a tribute to the Hon'ble Prime Minister's visionary leadership and commitment to advancing India's renewable energy revolution.
The NaMo Saur Samrat has dimensions of 75 inches in width and 150 inches in length, symbolizing the Prime Minister's 75th year. It integrates advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, minimizing energy loss and boosting efficiency and power output.
India, under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, is advancing decisively towards sustainability. The NaMo Saur Samrat's production marks India as a leading force in the global solar energy transition.
India today represents self-reliance at a gigantic scale, as symbolized by the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Goldi Solar has expanded its production capacity to 14.7 GW, and the company plans for further growth.
India has already achieved over half of its 2030 target of 500 GW renewable energy capacity. The NaMo Saur Samrat is a landmark achievement for Goldi Solar, symbolising India's Atmanirbhar strength in the global solar industry.
Capt. Ishver Dholakia's statement is a commitment to building a greener, self-reliant India that will power generations to come. The NaMo Saur Samrat is more than just a solar module; it is a symbol of India's determination to lead the world in renewable energy.
While China may have pioneered solar PV manufacturing, India's strides towards self-reliance and sustainability are unparalleled. The NaMo Saur Samrat is a shining example of this, and it heralds a new era of solar manufacturing in India.
As for the next expansion of Goldi Solar's production capacity, no publicly available details have been announced yet. However, with the success of the NaMo Saur Samrat and India's commitment to renewable energy, it is safe to say that the future looks bright for the solar industry in India.
