The Honor Magic V5, officially launched in China on July 2, has been recognized as the world's thinnest inward-folding phone, boasting an impressive array of features and specifications that set new standards in the foldable smartphone market.
### Key Features and Specifications
The Honor Magic V5 boasts a dual display setup, with a 7.95-inch inner screen and a 6.43-inch outer display, both OLED with 120Hz refresh rates. The main screen, protected by LTPO AMOLED technology, offers a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 4320Hz PWM dimming. The outer screen, protected by nano crystal shield glass, provides a suitable companion for daily use.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic V5 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, delivering flagship-grade performance. The device comes with 16GB RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB up to 1TB.
The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera with OIS, and either a 64MP or 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Both inner and outer selfie cameras offer 20MP resolution.
The Honor Magic V5 houses a large 6,100mAh battery, supporting 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Honor plans an international rollout later this year, aiming to challenge Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The starting price for the 12GB+256GB model is RMB 8,999.
