LG has unveiled its latest high-end monitor, the UltraFine 32U990A, now available for preorder. This 31.5-inch, 6K resolution powerhouse boasts impressive features, including Thunderbolt 5 connectivity and a price tag of $2,000 in the US, approximately 2,500 euros in Germany.
The LG UltraFine 32U990A offers a range of ergonomic adjustments, including tilt, height, pivot, and portrait mode, ensuring comfort during long hours of use. Its standout feature is its Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, enabling data transfer at up to 120Gbps and power delivery of 96W. This allows for single-cable connections to powerful workstations, charging laptops, and daisy-chaining another 6K monitor.
The monitor's 6K resolution (6144 x 3456) provides stunning detail, with 224 pixels per inch. It covers 98% of DCI-P3 and 99.5% of Adobe RGB, making it ideal for color-critical work. Additionally, it's VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified, ensuring deep contrast and realistic highlights. A USB-C hub supports 10Gbps peripherals, and a built-in KVM switch allows control of two devices with one keyboard and mouse.
