Motorola Unveils Swarovski Crystal-Encrusted Razr Smartphone and Moto Buds Loop
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Motorola has announced the upcoming release of the Swarovski crystal-encrusted Razr smartphone and matching Moto Buds Loop earbuds, part of the "Brilliant Collection". The limited-edition set is expected to hit stores around August 15, 2025, following a postponement from its initial August 5 launch date.
The Razr 2025 model boasts over 35 hand-placed Swarovski crystals, including a large precision-cut crystal on the hinge, crystal-inspired volume keys, and a quilted back with a light blue "Ice Melt" Pantone finish. The matching Moto Buds Loop earbuds feature crystals on the ear hooks and share the same Ice Melt hue.
The set, priced at $999.99 in the US, comes with a clear crossbody case to showcase the phone's unique design. However, it remains unclear whether the upcoming devices in the Brilliant collection will also feature a matching crossbody case or a finish in the same Ice Melt hue as the Razr.
Hardware specs for the Razr 2025 remain the same as the base Motorola Razr 2025 (Razr 60), powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X. Motorola is keeping details about the upcoming devices in the Brilliant collection under wraps.
The collaboration between Motorola and Swarovski is not limited to creating ostentatious smartphone designs. The companies have also partnered to create a crystal-clear audio experience with the new Moto Buds Loop, which Motorola claims "sparkles as brilliantly as the Swarovski crystals".
Motorola is not sharing specific details about the design or features of the upcoming devices, but they are expected to be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa "soon". The company is also planning to release more fashion-forward devices as part of the Brilliant collection.
The new Moto buds have a sleek, lightweight frame designed for comfort and secure fit, and an open-ear form that allows the wearer to stay connected to their environment.
