Microsoft and Ricoh join forces to develop AI-driven workforce solutions
Ricoh Asia Pacific Leads Enterprise AI Adoption with Microsoft Copilot
Ricoh New Zealand has solidified its position as a leader in enterprise AI adoption, particularly in the deployment of Microsoft Copilot. The company's exceptional performance and customer success have earned it Microsoft's highest standards of capability.
This achievement is set to be showcased during AI Learning Week, an internal initiative by Ricoh Asia Pacific, co-sponsored by Microsoft and Talogy. Running from 18-22 August 2025, the event will involve hands-on sessions, leadership panels, and solution showcases for over a thousand employees across Ricoh's Asia Pacific operations.
The insights gained from these assessments will feed into enablement frameworks and real-time feedback loops, driving continuous improvement not only internally but also for Ricoh's customers.
Ricoh's AI strategy is based on a three-tiered innovation framework, supporting varying levels of customer AI maturity and business need. The tiers include Pre-Configured Solutions, Enablement and Advisory Services, and Advanced Applications using AI agents, large language models, and vertical-specific solutions.
Ricoh New Zealand has implemented structured Copilot programmes across key business functions, including finance, marketing, customer operations, and digital services, supported by comprehensive AI readiness assessments. This strategic approach has positioned Ricoh New Zealand as a strategic contributor to Ricoh's go-to-market model in the Asia Pacific region with Microsoft.
Meanwhile, Ricoh Hong Kong has launched the Ricoh InnoAI Programme, a partnership with Cyberport and the Ricoh Software Research Center Beijing. This initiative offers AI startups and enterprise partners access to a purpose-built R&D centre, commercialisation pathways, and advanced infrastructure.
Microsoft is committed to supporting Ricoh in harnessing the power of Microsoft Copilot and custom AI agents during AI Learning Week. Leo Liu, General Manager, Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau, is collaborating with Ricoh for this event, aiming to empower teams across the Asia Pacific region to unlock the full potential of AI Agents.
Ricky Chong, Managing Director of Ricoh Hong Kong, states that InnoAI is building a business-ready AI ecosystem anchored in Hong Kong, ready to scale and support customers across the region.
