Mivi, a leading technology brand, has announced the launch of its latest innovation - the Mivi AI Buds. These earbuds are claimed to be the world's first "human-like" AI earbuds, combining advanced AI capabilities with premium audio hardware, offering a unique user experience.
The Mivi AI Buds are equipped with a quad-microphone active noise cancellation (ANC) system, ensuring clearer calls and environmental noise reduction. Priced at ₹6,999, these earbuds are a fusion of audio hardware and emotionally intelligent artificial intelligence.
One of the standout features of the Mivi AI Buds is their AI system, which is built around context retention, conversational memory, and emotional understanding. The AI assistant can be activated by saying "Hi Mivi" and offers multi-language support for eight Indian languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Gujarati, without requiring manual language switching.
The Mivi AI system features a set of pre-trained AI personas called Avatars, including the Guru Avatar for answering questions on diverse topics, Interviewer Avatar for conducting mock interviews, Chef Avatar for guiding through cooking recipes, Wellness Coach Avatar for emotional support, and News Reporter Avatar for delivering personalized news updates. These Avatars can be accessed simultaneously, providing tailored assistance across a range of use cases from wellness to interview preparation.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Mivi AI Buds are equipped with a 13mm driver, support Hi-Res Audio, LDAC codec for lossless sound, 3D Soundstage technology, and Spatial Audio for an immersive listening experience. The earbuds offer up to 40 hours of usage with custom firmware for energy efficiency.
The Mivi AI Buds also boast an hourglass-inspired design for improved comfort, and have an IPX4 rating for water resistance. They use Bluetooth v5.4, support dual connectivity, and include a gaming mode for low latency.
The Mivi AI app, available on the Google Play Store, assists with first-time pairing, sound customization, and managing interactions with the AI assistant. The AI assistant can be accessed via voice from the earbuds or through a text-based interface in the app. However, full AI assistant functionality is currently limited to Android devices, with iOS support planned but not yet available.
