Open Farm Brings Ethical Pet Food to Australia Amid Premium Demand

Pet owners in Australia now have access to Open Farm's range of pet food products. This comes at a time when Mordor Intelligence reports an increase in spending on premium pet food by the Australian middle class. Open Farm, known for its commitment to ethical and responsible practices, joins other 'moral brands' in the country.

Open Farm's products are made with ethically sourced, transparent ingredients. The brand is the first to partner with TerraCycle Australia for recycling, allowing consumers to dispose of packaging responsibly. Open Farm's pet food is positioned in the premium category, which is growing in Australia. Products are free from added flavors, preservatives, or fillers and are available from AU$29.99 (US$21.21).

In a unique initiative, Open Farm has partnered with Loop for reusable packaging of its freeze-dried raw dog food. The company, which partnered with Loop in July 2020, is Nestlé, and its first product available in reusable and recyclable packaging is the Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

Open Farm's entry into the Australian market offers pet owners a premium, ethical choice for their pets' nutrition. With partnerships for recycling and reusable packaging, the brand is set to make a significant impact on the Australian pet food industry.
