OpenTable, the globally renowned online restaurant reservation platform, has established a new subsidiary in Lithuania, named OpenTable Lithuania. The company, owned by Booking Holdings, was registered with a share capital of 15,000 euros and is based in Vilnius.

While the specifics of OpenTable Lithuania's operations remain to be fully disclosed, it is anticipated that the subsidiary will facilitate local Lithuanian restaurants in managing reservations and increasing customer bookings through the platform. The scope of operations is expected to include online reservations, table management, customer reviews, and potential integrations with delivery or ride-hailing services.

One such integration could be the partnership agreement with ride-hailing giant Uber, which, if confirmed, would offer customers the convenience of directly linking restaurant reservations with ride options, thereby improving the end-to-end dining experience.

OpenTable Lithuania is currently hiring a software developer focused on restaurant marketing in Kaunas. The role is within the Booking Holdings group and is based at the Kayak Lithuania office. The offered gross salary for this position ranges from 3,000 to 4,500 euros per month.
