Someone named ShivanshxDev has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. This guy was so salty after a buddy of his, Tanishq Maheswari, didn't get picked for the 2025 Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program, that he decided to unleash a torrent of abuse on Lee Calcote, a tech dude hailing from the States.
Calcote, mind you, had nothing to do with GSoC or its selections. Well, it turns out that ShivanshxDev was sending this missive on behalf of his unsuccessful friend, Tanishq Maheswari. and as a result, both of them were summarily barred from participating in GSoC.
The public airing of his abusive message led to a flurry of criticism on social media.
