Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo: Rugged Electric CUV Coming Soon
Porsche is gearing up to unveil the Taycan Cross Turismo, an electric 'CUV' variant of the popular Taycan. A teaser video features the car's head honcho, Stefan Weckbach, driving a lightly disguised model and discussing its unique features.
The Cross Turismo, set to debut this year after a delay from last year, is a ruggedized version of the Taycan. It boasts extra space and a 'CUV mode' for tackling tough terrains. Notably, Porsche has already introduced the Taycan Sport Turismo, which combines practicality with sporty dynamics, but lacks the off-road capabilities of the Cross Turismo.
The upcoming model's roof has been extended, giving it an 'Estate' look. Despite the anticipation, Porsche has no plans to introduce additional new variants beyond the existing Sport Turismo and Cross Turismo for the Taycan.
The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is poised for its debut this year, offering extra space and rugged capabilities. While Porsche has no plans for further new variants, the Cross Turismo promises to be a practical and capable addition to the Taycan lineup.
