Position: Regional Sales Manager Role
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Sales Manager to drive business growth and strengthen its market presence in the rail and transit industry. The role is remote, based in Warrendale, PA.
As a Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, leading regional sales strategies, and positioning MEPPI's Transportation Systems Division (TSD) products for success within the rail transportation sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing regional sales plans to increase market share and revenue.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships with rail industry clients.
- Leading a sales team, potentially recruiting, hiring, and training sales staff to achieve goals.
- Supporting sales operations by managing sales pipelines, tracking leads, and closing deals.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and technical alignment.
- Reporting on sales performance and providing strategic feedback to management.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales management or leadership, preferably in the rail or transportation sector. A strong track record of team building, training, and motivating sales teams is essential. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills are also required.
The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results. Experience in managing sales routes, lead distribution, and detailed reporting is valued.
