Power Outage Hits Pro Arbeit - Kreis Offenbach

Starting Monday, June 2, 2025, Pro Arbeit at the Dreieich location had faced an unexpected power outage, leaving both the Dreieich and Dietzenbach branches inaccessible for phone and digital communication. A shared data center seemed to be the culprit, as both facilities relied on it.

Underlying Cause

Preliminary investigation pointed to a technical glitch within a distribution system on the Dreieich premises contributing to the outage. The property owner, in collaboration with the city of Dreieich, geared up for repairs, scheduled for Friday, June 6.

Citizen's Allowance Payments Secure

Despite this hitch, the monthly payment runs transpired unhampered. The district of Offenbach confirmed no loss of data - the stored information remained undamaged. In case of future outages during the month, your citizen's allowance payments would be ensured by an independent emergency system.

Emergency Crew in Action

An emergency team has been stationed at the service center at Max-Planck-Straße 1-3 in Dreieich-Sprendlingen until Friday, June 6. They will be available from Thursday, 8:00 to 16:00, and on Friday, 8:00 to 12:00.

Rolling Out Regular Operation

From Tuesday following Pentecost, Pro Arbeit’s regular operations are expected to resume. The office will then reopen on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00 to 12:00, and on Thursday from 8:00 to 16:00. Personal consultations with caseworkers will continue to be appointment-based.

Hotline Access Restored

Starting Tuesday, you can reach the central hotline again, from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 to 17:00, and Friday, 9:00 to 14:00, at the number 06074 8058-100.
