Pre-booking for Apple's iPhone 17 series begins prior to its September 19 release date
The much-anticipated iPhone 17 series has been officially unveiled by Apple, and we have all the details for you. Here's a breakdown of the pricing, pre-order process, and color options for each model.
Starting with the iPhone 17, the base 256GB model will retail for Rs 82,900, while the 512GB variant is priced at Rs 1,02,900. The iPhone 17 comes in a variety of colors: Lavender, Sage, Mist Blue, White, and Black.
The iPhone 17 Pro is slightly more expensive, with the 256GB model priced at Rs 1,34,900, the 512GB variant at Rs 1,54,900, and the 1TB variant at Rs 1,74,900. The iPhone 17 Pro comes in three color options: Silver, Deep Blue, and Cosmic Orange.
The top-tier model, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, is priced at Rs 1,49,900 for the 256GB variant, Rs 1,69,900 for the 512GB variant, Rs 1,89,900 for the 1TB variant, and a whopping Rs 2,29,900 for the 2TB variant. The iPhone 17 Pro Max offers additional color options: Silver, Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange, Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White, and Space Black.
For those trading in their old devices, the exchange value can vary depending on the condition and model of the phone being exchanged, with a maximum value of up to Rs 64,000.
Customers in Germany can pre-order the iPhone 17 series starting September 12, 2025, at 14:00 from online shops like MediaMarkt and Amazon, as well as network providers such as Telekom and Vodafone, and directly via the Apple Online Store and Apple-Store app. Buyers who book via the Apple Online Store can avail up to 6 months No Cost EMI along with instant cashback of up to Rs 5,000 on select cards from American Express, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 lineup started on September 12, 5:30 PM IST. Customers can also pre-book their devices on various platforms such as the Apple Online Store, Apple Store, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Apple Authorised Resellers like Imagine and Unicorn. To pre-book, customers can sign in with their Apple ID, select the model, color, and storage, and complete payment online. On other platforms, buyers can tap on the pre-book option, choose the color and storage, and complete payment online as well.
The iPhone Air, a separate model in the series, is priced at Rs 1,19,900 for 256GB and comes in only one color option. More information about this model will be revealed at a later date.
